Thanks to the GFN_General (http://visitnowhere.com) for chatting with me.
So two things I want to talk about today.
The first is having my first musical, The Putnam County Spelling Bee (http://www.merelyplayers.com/#!the-25th-annual-putnam-spelling-bee/q5zwt), that I will be singing in. I have two parts, both sing in a song though one part a little more featured (Dan Dad) as the other is in a small chorus (Leaf Dad).
The second talks about a you tube person I follow called Beckie Jane Brown. She has a condition called trichotillomania , which is where you feel a compulsion to pull out your hair. Lately she put up and episode called Lost for Words (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a10wPpKN_EM) where she talks about doing a journal and trying to keep positive about things all the time not being easy. She links to another video called Let’s Talk (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6T8WivIeeS4) which expands a bit on it. It makes me wonder how people deal with hearing the bad from someone who tries so hard to keep positive, and how I might be lucky I’ve not been overly positive so I guess I’m more free to have a range of emotions? Also talking about the positive side too again referencing a Beckie video with her and Motivational Molly when they met up at Vidcon (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivD2UtwdlhA).
